week (and weekend) in photographs

So I gave myself an assignment to take a photograph a day last week...not as easy as it sounds, as I have a fairly nice camera and lugging it around everywhere isn't the smartest thing in the world. So behold, for your viewing pleasure...a week's worth of photographs exploring my really, really boring life.

I also went to a most kick-ass Flogging Molly concert on Saturday and then went raspberry picking on Sunday with a couple of my friends, so don't get worried when you start to see alpacas and pies and my roommate and a box of fruit I picked, that's just how I roll on my weekends to make up for my lack of life during the week.

Enjoy!

You find the darndest things on your fridge after a party.

official footwear of California summers.

desktop.

Phoenix toes with a Mocha in the mirror.

sunset.

it's not a red wheelbarrow, but it'll do...

I have a hard time believing that stuffed animal is a bad dog.

if I ever leave this world alive...

there's a little bit of Irish punk in all of us.

You don't say.

Whoa, pony.

If they made a horror movie out of an alpaca invasion, this would be a great opening shot.

Behold the awkwardness.

Drool.

Roommate and much better photographer than I am.

I picked these all by myself!

i loved this!!! and the alpaca invasion comment was great. :) taking a picture a day for an entire week is an awesome experiment. you should try to do it for a whole year!!

jealous of floggin molly and your raspberry picking. this is the FIRST summer since I was a kiddo that I haven't gone to my grandma's house, where we raspberry pick and then make jam. It's all very mayberry. then we remember the rest of our dysfunctional family and snap back to reality. :) have you heard the conor oberst 'gone gone' from the mystic valley band cd? very flogging molly-esque.

What a week (and weekend)! I love Flogging Molly - are they as amazing in concert as everyone says they are? The raspberries look mighty tasty... and I have to add - aren't sandals the official of California period? =P (In San Diego, I wore my Reefs all year round, even in the dead of "winter".)

I'll trade you for those raspberries. What'll it take? I got a rookie card of Ken Griffey Jr., or a genuine Red Flyer Wagon (it's not a wheelbarrow, but...)

Great shots. I love that sunset one. It can get pretty difficult to take pictures everyday. I wish my iphone had a better camera on it or I would try to do this to. I also have a nice big camera but I hate lugging it around. So congrats to you for doing it!

I once saw an alpaca trying to mate with a camel. The camel was chomping on grass bored out of its mind while this Dr. Seuss like creature was humping its brains out and making a god awful noise. It was horrific and hilarious. It would make a great scene in that alpaca horror film of yours.

This is such a cool idea! I might steal it ;-)

Haha behold the awkwardness. Love it. Would it be even more awkward if I said I know someone that kind of looks like it? Lol.

These photos are great, and I wouldn't call your life boring at all. Thanks for sharing this.

That sunset is gorgeous, and I am so drooling along with you on the pie. Did you actually eat one, or just photograph it?

Alpacas are so weird. They are cute but ugly at the same time. Like those darned pugs.

Absolutely wonderful shots! The sunset was simply superb.:) And the alpaca moments were downright funny. You should definitely continue this experiment. A picture is better than a thousand words, as they say ;) And it makes your blog so colorful :)
